初対外試合

今日は、初めて他の学校のチームとの試合でした。試合には、大敗しましたがバス移動なども含めていい経験になりました。 Today was the first time we played a match against a team from another school. We lost the game badly, but it was a good experience for us, including the bus transfer.

バーベキュー

今日は片道8キロを歩いてバーベキューをしに行きました。食べたのはハンバーガーでしたが歩き疲れた後だったのでいつもの数倍美味しく感じました。 Today I walked 8 km one way to a barbecue. I ate a hamburger, but it tasted several times better than usual after all the walking.

発音

最近ようやく英語に慣れてきたのですが、ネイティブの先生などの発音は聞き取れるのですが、スペイン語圏などの人は、発音が特殊なので聞きてれないことがあります。もう少し慣れて聞き取れるようになりたいです。

パリーグ

今日は日曜日で何もない日だったのですが、日本のプロ野球で奇跡の大逆転優勝をリアルタイムで見れたのでよかったです。 Today was Sunday, a day with nothing going on, but I was glad to see the miraculous comeback victory in Japanese professional baseball in real time.

ピザ作り

今日は、夜にピザ作りイベントがありました。作り方もわからない中やった割にはいいものが作れたかなと思います。美味しかったです。 Today, we had a pizza-making event in the evening. I think we made a good one for something we didn’t know how to make. It was delicious.

金曜日

今日は1週間に1度の全校集会でした。この1週間よく分からない疲れがきました。週末でこの疲れを回復させたいです。 Today was the weekly school assembly. I have been feeling tired for the past week, which I don’t understand. I hope to recover from this fatigue over the weekend.

ドイツ人

バックスウッドに来てから、かなり友達はできたのですが、その中でもドイツ人が一番優しくて、話しやすいです。 I have made quite a few friends since I came to Buckswood, but the Germans are the nicest and easiest to talk to among them.

気候

イギリスでもこの時期から大分寒くなってきます。風邪に気をつけて頑張りたいです。ということで、せっかくなのでイギリスの保健室について少し紹介します。イギリスの保健室はベットがあると言うよりは、ナースのオフィスがあると言う感じです。

練習試合

今日は、初めて練習試合を行いました。と言っても、bチーム対cチームで、僕はbチームでプレーしました。試合は10-0で勝ち、僕は4点とりました。チームメイトとかなり仲良くなれました。

初めての月曜日

今日は、イギリスに来てから初めての月曜日でした。まだ学校自体に慣れていないなので、不安なことも多いです。 Today was my first Monday in the UK. I’m still getting used to school itself, so I have a lot of worries.
